I'm Back!
Hey guys, long time no see! Our computer has been fixed, and I am back to blogging again! As for NaNoWriMo...that...kinda didn't work out. But I'm gonna be extra prepared for next year!
Anyways, I started writing a Christmas comic...for a few reasons. First of all, I felt that I needed to take a break from stressing out over my story and work on something goofy. That way, I'm not as worried about messing up on it. So, enjoy the first page of my sloppily-colored comic...(By the way, you might have to save the image and zoom in to be able to see the text...)

Sorry, Guys!
I haven't been able to upload stuff lately...for various reasons. First, I've been busy because we hosted a Japanese exchange student this last week (which was super fun, by the way). Second, we think our home computer has a virus....again. Hopefully it won't wipe out Photoshop and all my drawings and stuff...(I'm using a different computer at the moment, so I'm still able to go on here.) I've been praying for our computer nonstop!!!! Please pray that it gets fixed!
Also, since I can't use our home computer, I can't type up my story........I'm so behind on NaNoWriMo....oh well, I've already learned so much about writing from what I've already done. I'm probably not gonna reach 50k words, though......T________T I'm only at like, 5000-something....
Oh, I also had a question for you guys! Which of my characters do you like better? Lynnette or Celeste? I want to know who I should draw more....

Beautful People: NaNoWriMo
So I heard about this thing called "Beautiful People" from Lauriloth's wonderful blog. You can read more about it here, but basically it's where you answer questions about your characters each month. This month, however, you're supposed to answer questions about your novel for NaNoWriMo. I decided give it a try!
1. Sum up your novel in five words or less.
Dragons pursue lost power source.
2. Novel title?
Haven't decided...but the series is called Chronicles of Wingdom.
3. Sum up your main character(s) in one word.
Responsible.
4. Advice for newbies in three words?
Just do it.
5. Tell us about your secondary characters, how do they affect the story?
They affect the story in several ways. A lot of them serve as guides, mentors, providers, etc. My main characters wouldn't get anywhere without them.
6. Do you plan on staying up till midnight on the 31st?
Hopefully not! I plan to organize my time, but things usually never happen the way I plan them...
7. How many years have you done NaNo?
This is my first year, actually.
8. What came first, characters, or plot idea?
The characters came first. I made up my protagonist (Lynnette) about a year ago, and I've made up a few different stories with her, but I changed them so many times it somehow became the one I'm doing now.
9. How much prep do you do before November?
Well, I decided to do NaNo only last week...so I've been planning since then...
10. Now be honest, how do you really feel about NaNo?
I am beyond excited to do this. It's an oppurtunity to finally let out the creativity that's been brewing in my head for over a year now......it should be a good experience!

Those Darn Characters.....
Seriously guys, I don't even have control over my own characters anymore. I created them, yes, but they have minds of their own, I'm telling you! Because of their rebellion against the wishes of their author (me), they are holding back my story!!! Take a look at these problems they've caused:
First of all, I had these two characters who were twin brothers. I intended for both of them to fall in love with Celeste, but she loves only one of them. Instead, she decided to do her own thing and fall for the wrong guy! I'm like, "Uh...hello? Celeste? I'm planning out your future husband and you decide you want his brother instead?!" And so, now they are madly in love, and I, the poor author, is left to try and work things out.
As I continued formulating the plot, I noticed that somehow had a bunch of lengthy scenes of conversation between Lynnette and Cielo. I realized that slowly but surely, they were falling in love. AGAINST MY WISHES. I already had relationships planned for both of them, though not with each other! And yet somehow, I'm starting to think they work well together. Their personalities just seem to match well...
I examined all possible options, and concluded that it is necassary for a certain character to die. There is a chain of events that can only be set in motion by this person's demise. But after drawing some heart-breaking pictures of this scene, along with some sad piano music, I was literally in tears. I love this character too much to kill them off! How on earth am I gonna pull this off?!

I Can't Think of A Title For This Post! :D

I'm finally gonna get started on my story! And I have a feeling that it's gonna be more than 50k words long........oh boy, what have I gotten myself into???
So, here are the pictures~! Enjoy! ;D
I don't actually know any Korean...I used Google Translate...I don't even remember what I was trying to write..............Anyways, go check out some of SeeU's songs on YouTube! I think her voice is really cute!

Meeting an Author +
Recently I got the chance to meet my favourite Christian author, Bryan Davis, in person! He signed my copy of Starlighter and Raising Dragons! :3 I also bought his daughter's new book, Precisely Terminated, which she signed as well! Both of them were really nice, and they had really good writing tips.
They were speaking at a Christian school around where I live, and they had a lot of really good tips on writing. They also talked about using your gifts to glorify God, which was really inspiring for me! When I got home, I decided to draw one of the characters from his book, Diviner (it's the third in the Tales of Starlight series).
Oh, and I finished another picture on Photoshop! My mom wanted me to make her a sign to put outside her classroom at the preschool where she works. She wanted it to look autumn-ish, so I let her pick the colors!
